Nadine Markham Hogan, 89, widow of Bobby J. Hogan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clonnie and Hattie Bryant Markham; a son, Daniel Keith Hogan; a sister, Haseltine Byrd.

Her life revolved around her husband and family. She spent her life taking care of everyone else and has now been reunited with her husband of 44 years whom she has longed for since the day of his passing. She was a long-time member of Belmont Baptist Church. Her career spanned many decades of service at Eli Lilly and she retired from Elizabeth Arden.

She will be missed and remembered by her children, Barry Hogan (Liz), Kathy Mycock (Ken), Bobby Alan Hogan, and Jamie Hogan; grandchildren, Matthew Hogan (Francine), Joshua Hogan (Ami), Kylee Mycock-Gibb (Zach), Lexi Mycock, and Colton Mycock (Hannah); great-grandchildren, Romey and Hudson; close friends, Norma Lee, Joyce Epperly, and Lelia Jones.

Services to honor her life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Laughinghouse officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Belmont Baptist Church , 825 Stewart Avenue SE, Roanoke, VA 24013.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the entire First Wing Staff at Friendship Health and Rehab on Starkey Road for the love and care they provided.
