Elizabeth L. Price, 59, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, December 20, 2011. She was preceded by her father, John E. Price and her grandmother, Letha Jennings. Elizabeth graduated in 1970 from Ewa Beach High School in Hawaii, spent many years in New Bern, N.C. employed by Warehouser before moving to Roanoke to be with her family. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend who loved her family and friends and will be truly missed by all. A special thanks to the Roanoke Memorial Hospital Oncology floor nurses, especially Wendy for their care and support during this difficult time. Surviving are her mother, Barbara Price of Roanoke; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dave Petrie; true and loyal friends in N.C. and Roanoke, Kim, Karen, and Jim, Jill and Steve, Misti and Rebecca, Kathy, and Aubry. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Blue Ridge Independent Center, 1502B Williamson Road, N.E., Roanoke, Va. 24012.
