Obituary of Timothy Scott Wiley

Timothy Scott Wiley, 61, of Fairfield, VA, was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on November 29, 1960, and died on November 12, 2022, during a trip down to his favorite stretch of the James River.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Mildred Wiley. He is survived by his wife Lori Wiley; daughters, Paula Wiley (husband Trey White) and Carmen Wiley; cousin Kathy Bibb; best friend Aaron Johnson; sister Ann Carl.

Tim was an avid outdoorsman and experienced whitewater navigator. He was a pioneer of the auto detailing industry who helped revolutionize ceramic coatings. He had an unmatched wit and a great sense of humor. Tim was a devoted and loving husband, father, and friend. The family would like to thank the Glasgow Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squad, Buena Vista Rescue Squad, Virginia Conservation Police, and Christian Aid Ministries Search & Rescue of Virginia, VDM, Bedford Fire & Rescue, and numerous K9 Rescue Teams who searched for Tim in the cold, wind, and rain to bring him back to us.
