Joyce C. Carter, 86, formerly of Roanoke went home to be with God on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, David J. Carter; sons, Michael Carter (Michele), Alex Carter (Tracie); grandchildren, Ashley Langston, Logan Carter, Lindsay Nidriga, and Emerson "Emma" Carter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Chaplain Troy Mays. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
