There isn’t anyone who met Pop and wasn’t left with a lasting impression. He was one of the most genuine, one-of-a-kind people you’d ever know. He was a strong believer in his faith, a dedicated member of his church, a good friend, good neighbor, animal lover, and a good story teller. He lived simply. He believed a little hard work went a long way, a lot of hard work meant even more. Most importantly, he loved his family. He instilled values and formed special bonds and relationships with each one. I believe his proudest achievements were father, grandfather, and best friend to his children and grandchildren. It’s hard to say goodbye and even harder when it’s someone like Pop. May you always remember his smile, let his laugh or something he’d say echo in your heart. He will remain with you always.
I thank God for the honor of having Pop in my life over the past several years and getting to know Allison and Kayla as well. We will cherish those fond memories.
Condolences, love, and support to family and friends. I love and am here for you.
