Vicki, Matt, Stephanie and David— your husband and Dad was a great person. Always with a smile on his face and kind words about his family. Especially his Grandbabies. I was honored to have him as my mentor and District Manager at Roanoke Times. He loved his Charlie Brown/Snoopy. He kept us laughing and would do what he could to help anyone. He will be missed. RIP Steven Wayne Guard. Your with your God and parents again. See ya again. Vicki and family you’re in my thoughts and prayers.
