Obituary of Earl Paul Worley

Earl Paul Worley, 94, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 7, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Clara Norcross Worley and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Worley retired from Southern States after many years of service. He served in the U S Army during World War II and was a member of Hope Bible Church.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Jean Hamblin Worley; daughter, Kim (Mark) Webster; step sons, Michael (Sherry) Bryant, Daniel Bryant; grandchildren, Matthew (Kelly) Bryant, Jennifer (Cory) Hawks, Amy Webster, and Lori Bryant; great grandchildren, Nathan Loving, Kate Bryant, and Kellen Hawks; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Hope Bible Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Don Eshelman.  Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home.  540-366-0707
