Hugh Jay Turner, 66, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Custer.
He is survived by his daughter, Jodi Harris (Michael); grandson, Tyler Wilkerson; brother, Harvey Turner; sister, Barbara Lucas; and many nieces and nephews.
A Chapel Service will be held at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek) at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
