Camille Giordano 88 of Roanoke, formerly of New York went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2013. She was preceded by her loving husband Gene Giordano in 2000.
Mrs. Giordano and her husband Gene relocated from New York and made their home in Roanoke where she lived for the past 38 years.
A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Giordano's life will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Simpson Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30pm till service time at the funeral Home Tuesday.
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name;
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories.
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
