Obituary of Benjamin Stuart Bryant

Benjamin Stuart “Ben” Bryant, 24, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He was the son of Jack E. and Martha G. Bryant.

Ben worked as a sheet metal mechanic and loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents he will be sadly missed and remembered by his sister, Danielle Nicole Bryant & her fiancé Joey Fleshman; son, Allan Eldridge Bryant; the mother of his child, Mary Elizabeth Hughes; maternal grandmother, Virginia Rutrough and her husband, Kenneth Rutrough; uncles and aunts, Dewey and Patricia Bryant, Jimmy and Barbara Bryant, Charlene Bower; cousins, Jason Bryant & Katie, Sarah Long, Jeremy Bower & Katie, Preston Bryant & Kelsey, Travis Bryant & Emily, Candace Bower, Bobby Simmons & Ranelle; his special childhood friend, Zach Deck; his furry companion, Bandit; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road with Jimmy Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Brubaker Cemetery, 8534 Willow Creek Drive, Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home.
