Obituary of Charles Edward Knapp

Charles “Chuck” E. Knapp Jr, 60, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, January 8, 2022. He graduated from Cave Spring High School in 1979 and attended Virginia Western Community College. He was a photographer and worked in music and movie stores.  He loved music,  movies, and helped train dogs. 

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Knapp and Sonia Knapp.  He is survived by his son, Justin R. Knapp;, his daughter, Ashley; his sister, Sonia Myers and husband Stan; nephew, Stanley W. Myers II and his wife Judy; niece, Sonia L. Ponte and her husband Joseph Ponte III; two great-nieces, Moira Tosise and her husband Aaron and Livia Ponte; and three great-nephews, Skye McElwain, John Laughin Myers, and Hayden Bristow-Ponte. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 2pm at

Faith Alliance Church, 7505 Barrens Road,  Roanoke, VA 24019
