Obituary of Shirley Anne Jordan Keffer

Shirley Anne Jordan Keffer, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 31, 2022, at the age of 85.  One of the sweetest, kindest souls you would ever meet who always cherished her family, friends and pets.  She will be missed.

Born in Danville, Virginia, on July 15, 1936.  She graduated from Lewis Gale School of Nursing and then married Dr. Ernest Jackson Keffer, Jr. in November of 1958. He preceded her in death along with her adoptive parents, Robert and Lois James; brother,  Wesley Holley; sister, Barbara Bolton; son, Alex Keffer; daughter, Rebecca Wallace; and sons-in-law, John DiCarlo and David Ferguson.

She is survived by daughters, Kathleen DiCarlo, Anne Gentry and husband, John, and Jennifer Ferguson; son, John Keffer and wife, Michelle; and grandchildren, Jacqueline and John Gentry, David and Colleen DiCarlo, and Andrew Ferguson.
