Obituary of Mary Frances Henderson

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mary Frances Henderson transitioned from this life at age 74 on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Mary Frances was a native of Pulaski, VA, but in 1972 she moved to Roanoke, VA, where she met her future husband of 49 years, James Henderson. Together they raised a family in the shared faith of Jehovah Witnesses. Mary Frances touched the lives of many through her familial, spiritual, and secular ties. The attributes that define Mary Frances the most were her fiery spirit, generous nature, and beautiful smile, which were all enhanced by her underlying faith.

Mary Frances is survived by her spouse, James Henderson; sons, Julius Fuller (Lydia) and Edward Fuller (Sherry); daughters, Leticia Mitchell and Shawna Henderson; and siblings, Ronnie Baker, Lynn Baker, Polly Baker, Ellen Poindexter, Barry McCloud, and Natoya McCloud.

Mary Frances was also the proud grandma to eight grandchildren, Timmy, Antonio, Whitney, Jordyn, Destiny, Asia, A.J., and Natasha; and five great grandchildren, Saniya, Noah, Khamaya, Niles, and Toni.
