Ruth G. Mercer, 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at her home with her family at her side. She was the widow of the late Kenneth L. Mercer and the last of 7 siblings.
She will be missed and remembered by her children, Debra Bodenrader (Neil), Terry Mercer (Judy); granddaughters, Laurie Gordon (Randy), Jennifer Akers (Matt); great-grandchildren, Josh Simmons (Amy), Jessica Simmons (Ashley), Jonah Akers and Bella Akers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and wonderful friends.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Leah Bivins and Stephanie Ham of Amedisys Home Health Care for the care they showed to Ruth.
