Obituary of Dustin D. Nutter

Dustin "Dusty" Nutter, 30, of Roanoke passed away Monday, January 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Frances McClung Nutter and Ruben and Louise Cook Tingen.

Dusty was a 2009 graduate of Northside High School.  At the time of his death he was employed by Roanoke County as a Firefighter/EMT (Intermediate).  He was an avid outdoorsman with a special love of hunting, fishing and hiking.

Surviving are the love of his life, Caitlin "Cate" Ward; father and mother, Darrell and Emma Nutter; and sister, Emma-Louise "Sis" Rondeau and husband Greg.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy PO Box 807 Harpers Ferry, VA  25425.

A celebration of Dustin's life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Pastor Doug Sasser will officiate.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.  (540)366-0707
