Obituary of Deirdre` Eva Dye

Deirdre` Eva Dye passed away in her home in Fincastle surrounded by her family on January 18, 2022 at the age of 58.  She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene W. Meador; mother, Beatrice B. Kingery; step-father, Hubert C. Kingery; sister, Nancy M. Schoonover and brother, Eugene L. Meador.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Robert D. Dye; daughter and husband, Elizabeth and Jedediah Bowers; son, R. Conly Dye; daughter, Grace E. Dye; grandchildren, Brian, Aubreigh, Addyleigh, and Deirdre` Bowers; sister and husband, Faith and James Pressley; nephew and fiance', Clay Pressley and Sydney Horsley; great niece, Avery Pressley; sister-in-law, Nancy D. Cundiff; brother-in-law, James G. Dye, Jr.

Special thanks to Becky Yopp and her daughter Lydia for the wonderful care they gave Deirdre` over the last year.  The family would also like to express their thanks to their church family at Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church and the local ALS organization.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Simpson Funeral Home.  A private funeral service for family and close friends will be held 11:00 am Monday, January 24, 2022 at  Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road with the Rev.
