Obituary of Virginia Mitchell Bocock

Virginia Mitchell Bocock, 80 of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 16, 2022.  She was preceded by her husband, Robert T. Bocock; daughter, Lisa Fleming; and a son, Tracy Bocock.

Mrs Bocock retired as a unit secretary in the Dialysis Department at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are her son, Steven and wife Patricia Bocock; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.

A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707
