Obituary of Charlotte Carter Lavinder

Charlotte Carter Lavinder, 78, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Beatrice Carter; her brother, Gary Carter; her husband Clyde Lavinder, her inlaws, Carl and Linda Lavinder and Taylor and Jewell Lavinder. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Karen Garlow and husband John; grandson, Marshall; sisters, Donna Carter and Shelby Hurt (Richard); special sister, Karen Wadovsky; brothers, Charles Carter (Debbie) and Larry Carter (Sharon); brothers-in-law, Larry Lavinder (Becky) and Lynwood Lavinder (Roslyn); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1 pm at Roselawn Burial Park, 103 Clearview Drive Martinsville. VA 24112.
