Obituary of Shannon Amani Bonds

Shannon Amani Bonds, 20, formerly of Roanoke passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his Pop Pop, Rodney Johnson; and aunt, Tonya Morris.

Surviving are his mother and step father, Tammy and Jay Johnson; father and step mother, Shannon Bonds and Melyssa Washington; grandparents, Vickie Shelton, Doug and Jennifer Nimley; great grandmothers, Martha Bassett and Peggy Hobson; brothers, John Hancock, Coreyon Ferguson, King Johnson, Wuan Johnson and Zackery King; step brothers, Cameron Jeffery; sisters, Brittany Sneed and Aiyanna Bonds; nieces, Miley and Mileya; nephew, Jayvin.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Andrew Draughn.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
