Obituary of Kathy Lynn Foster Langhorn

Please share a memory of Kathy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kathy Lynn Foster Langhorn was born in Hinton, West Virginia on June 6, 1965. She later moved to Roanoke where she was educated in the Roanoke City Public School System. She met Ronald Langhorn, whom she loved for 37 years. To this union, one son was born - Jayson who was the "apple of her eye."

Kathy also loved being a caregiver and personal assistant to the elderly providing companionship and assistance with daily living, runniong errands, and taking them to doctor's appointments. She also loved being outside gardening and designing landscapes. She was kind and had a generous heart; she would do anything she could for you. Kathy was very resourceful and was a "Jack of All Trades" kind of person, who never ran from hard work. She was one of the first to volunteer for anything, including the services of Ronnie and Jayson. She put her family first, and deeply loved her husband and son.

Other than her husband and son, Kathy is survived by her loving Langhorn family, other relatives, and friends.

Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed, and so very dear. The family of Kathy Langhorn wish to thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this time.

A very special thanks to the CCU Unit at Lewis Gale for their loving care and to Simpson Funeral Home for their services.
