Ray Harris, 82, of Roanoke passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hessie Perdue Harris.
Ray retired after many years of service with the Norfolk Southern Corporation. His hobbies included a love for cars and being an avid NASCAR fan.
Surviving are his daughter, Cathy Harris; special friend of 16 years, Peggy Howell and her children, Derek and Jill Howell; brother, Gary (Laura) Harris; and many friends including Danny and Sherry McPeak.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the SPCA.
