Obituary of Weston Mead-Marxer Powell

Weston Mead-Marxer Powell, 32, of Roanoke passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Dorothy Marxer; grandfather, Tobey Chambers; uncle, Steven Marxer; and dad, Kennis "Lee" Chambers.

Weston leaves behind his two boys, Julius and Jsai Powell; father, Ross Powell and wife Annie; mother, Kellie Huffman and stepdad, Michael; sister, Allyson Powell and fiancée Justin Howard; niece, Eliana Howard; aunt and uncle, Laura and Keith Frazier; uncle, and aunt, Michael and Patty Marxer; uncle, Anthony Chambers; grandparents, Bobby and Janet Lancaster; along with cousins and numerous friends.

Weston's world revolved around his precious sons.  Everything he dreamt about or ventured to do was for his boys.  He never met a stranger.  He knew everyone and everyone knew him.  Everyone was family, he had cousins by the dozens, and other "Mom and Pops", Carol and Johnny; and Aunt Lindy; and too many more to mention.

Words do not come easy to convey the love everyone had for Weston.  He loved fiercely, felt deeply, dreamt boldly and gave unselfishly to everyone that was part of his journey in life.

We will be together soon my son.  Until then we will watch over your boys.!

A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  A Celebration of Life-Birthday Celebration will immediately follow the service at Xquisite Events 659 Peters Creek Road NW.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.  366-0707
