Obituary of Venkat G. Reddy

Venkat Reddy, 62, of Salem passed away Monday, November 15, 2021 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kaddam Narayan Reddy and Kamala Devi; brother, Rajendar Reddy; and his sister, Madhumati Reddy.

Mr. Reddy immigrated from India in 1990 with his family and made the Roanoke Valley his home.  He was a successful entrepreneur and business man. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and particularly loved spending time on his farm on Bent Mountain.  He enjoyed reading, hunting and entertaining.  He was always kind hearted and willing to help anyone.  He was a monumental figure in his family and group of friends and will never be forgotten.  Mr. Reddy was most proud of his two daughters.

Mr. Reddy will be missed and remembered by his wife, Anitha Reddy; daughters, Madhu Reddy and Nitya Reddy; sister, Malathi Reddy; brother, Maipal Reddy; as well as numerous other family members

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road from 3 to 5 pm.
