Obituary of Carl I. Graham

Carl Graham, 93, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was preceded  in death by his parents, Amos and Pearl Graham; as well as brothers; Gradyon (Billy) and Trubie and sister, Virginia (Imogene) Sutliff.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Delmar Graham;  daughters, Micky of Salem and J Tracy of Chesterfield, VA; son, Carl (Buddy) Jr.  and wife Dawn of Cheraw, SC; four granddaughters: Melissa (Brian) Nimmo, Cloverdale, Katie Graham, Greenville, SC, Sami Brigman and Emily Graham both of Cheraw, SC; and one great granddaughter, Stella Brigman, also of Cheraw, SC; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many close friends. 

The family offers a special thank you to Rick Mitchell.

Carl was a member of Mountain Pass Baptist Church for 31 years.  In his younger years (before marriage), he was one of the wild boys of the Hudson Club. He worked for Rowe Furniture for 57, and also worked for DJ’s Dental Lab for several years after retiring from Rowe.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  The family asks that those planning to attend the service to  please wear masks.
