Obituary of Anthony Blake Chandler Tolley

Please share a memory of Anthony Blake to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anthony Blake Chandler Tolley 18 of Roanoke left his earthly home for his eternal home on November 3, 2021. He is survived by his mother Janet Tolley, sisters Alysha & Madysun Tolley, Kayla Moore & Josh, brothers Damien & Byron Smith. Grandparents Andrew & Catherine Smith. Nana’s Paula Webster & Judy Martin. Aunts Donna Smith, Debbie Greenwood, Julie Jacinto & Teri Croy, Uncles Robbie Martin & Riley Barrett, Gary Cochrane. Niece & nephews, special cousins Jackie, Dylan, Chris, Chelsea, Hanna, Andy & Family and many other cousins and a extension of many other loving family members. He is preceded in death by father Anthony Tolley, grandparents Pete & Norma Tolley, grandmother Nancy Cochrane, Aunt Stephanie Tolley, Uncle Rick Greenwood, Cousins Christian Smith & Jayden Martin.

Blake had a host of many other special loved ones - Brianna Sowers, Kendall Scott & Family, Serena Lytton, Robin Hayden, Randal Goodson, The Jackson’s, The Crawford’s, The Ibrahim’s, The Cox’s, The St.Clair’s, The Nichols/Spain Family, Landon, Haley, Jr, Elevation Church Family as well as many Coworkers/former coworkers, former teachers, counselors, staff & administrators, coaches/teammates & families.

Blake recently graduated from Patrick Henry High School had a love for his family & friends, God, baseball, football, gaming, cooking out, fishing and a extreme love for BMW’s. His smile & upbeat personality could light up a room and he always said at least something to make you laugh. He pushed those he cared for to the limits that he saw their full potential. He had one of the most loving & generous hearts and would help anyone out when he could.

I find comfort in knowing Blake dedicated his life to God through baptism and serving others through the hands and feet of God, so I know he’s wrapped tightly in the arms of Jesus and that I will see him again when my time comes to join him. I will miss him every second of every day but I know he’s in a greater place. I also know that he will live on through others who may not have had a chance and MY HERO would’ve saved the life of anyone he could’ve because he had such a loving heart. If he could’ve only known the lives he impacted and will continue to impact through his contribution of organ donations so that others will potentially have more time with their families & loved ones.

He was able to save 4 lives and will potentially help multiple others that’s the kind of selflessness he had and it was a honor for me to be his mom and call him my son. God truly blessed me with an Angel.
