Obituary of Lois Hartman Johnson

Lois Elizabeth Hartman Johnson, 94, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2021. She loved her family, grandchildren and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Callie Weaver Hartman; husband Carli Johnson; sons, Michael R. Johnson (Survived by Virginia Johnson), Kenneth W. Johnson (Survived by Wanda Johnson) and six brothers and eight sisters.

She is survived by her brother Frank (Cotton) Hartman; son, Donald Lee Johnson (Gloria); daughters Gale Francisco (Barry), Joyce Perdue (Sam); eight grandchildren, Michelle Gearst (J.R.), Christy Wilkerson (Troy), John Shepherd IV (Elaina), Jarrett Weeks (Candy), Michael Johnson (Crystal), Carl W. Johnson, Samantha Lomansey (Brandon) and Kelly Johnson; eleven great grandchildren, Alexis, Madison, Erin, Trevor, Taylor, Candence, Owen, Kaylan, Tiegan, Jonathan & Brennan; three great-great grandchildren, Braedon, Vanessa and P.J.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 am at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Washington officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lois’s name to Hollins Road Baptist Church.
