1ST Lt. Danny Lee Simpson, USMC Retired, 79, of Goodview passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard L. and Ruby Beckner Simpson; grandparents, Charles and Cora Simpson; brother, William Caroll and Norma Jean Simpson; sisters, Joyce S. Myers, Janet S. Wilkerson, and Kay S. Carroll.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Harue T. Simpson; brother, Johnny Ray Simpson; brothers-in-law, Tsuyashi Tsujitani of Kyoto, Japan and Wayne Wilkerson of Vinton; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by the Electric Road Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home. 632-4200
