Obituary of Charles Lee Ferris

Charles “Chuckie” Ferris, 51, of Roanoke, Va, died after a long illness Sunday morning October 24, 2021 at 8:07am at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born May 2, 1970 in Roanoke, Virginia and was the son of the late Beverly Ferris and Linda Gayle Taylor. He was also preceded in death by his beloved Uncle Randy and Aunt Sherry Thomas of Roanoke. He was a stonemason for more than 25 years in Roanoke and he was known for his breakdancing. 

Surviving are his children Amanda Gail Clinebell, Brittany Danielle Webster, and Caitlin Marie Clinebell, all of Roanoke; grandchildren Jacob Thomas Hoke, Lillian Mae Webster, and Gabrielle Marie Goff, all of Roanoke; and a number of aunts and uncles; and a sister, Angela Ferris (Allen), brothers Richard Ferris, and Gary Atkins, all of Roanoke; and nieces Ashley Bailey (Todd), Shauna Atkins, Brooke Atkins, and nephew Brandon Clark (Amy); close cousins Timmy and Cindy Thomas; and his lifelong special friends Sabrina and Linda.

A private memorial service for family will be held for Chuckie. Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
