Dorothy Troutt Wheeling Poage, 96 of Roanoke passed away Friday, December 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Garland Wheeling and Clayton C. Poage and a son Marvin Lee Wheeling. She was a member of Hollins Road Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her sons, Gary Wayne Wheeling and wife Donna of Augusta, Maine; Glenn Michael Wheeling; Roger Steven Wheeling and wife Linda all of Goodview; grandchildren, Chad Wheeling and wife Anna of Daleville; Traci Sutphin and husband Scott of Vinton; great grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, Grace, Bryce, Hayden and Caroline. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Rescue Mission P O Box 11525 Roanoke, Virginia 24022. A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 in Sherwood Memorial Park by the Rev. Horace Light. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
