Obituary of Gary Lee Dalton

Gary Lee Dalton, 75, of Roanoke passed away Monday, October 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Lelia Beck Dalton; sisters, Mary Chisom and Rebecca Masse and a brother, Kyle Dalton.

Gary proudly served in the U S Navy during the Vietnam War. For many years Gary worked as a truck driver.

Surviving are his sisters, Martha Wright and Rachel Stump; brother-in-law, Don Masse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 6 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be conducted 11 am  Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Weatherford Primative Baptist Church Cemetery in Pittsylvania County, VA by Elder Raymond Goad.
