I remember Rosanna as a true southern lady. I have fond memories of her presence at our Christmas Fair’s at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church bringing her mixtures of this amazing cinnamons, cloves, and peppermint to be sold. People loved her. She was such a gracious host. Years later she and her family built a beautiful home on our old homeplace property near Catawba. I and my sisters once chased cows over that same land. I hope she loved it as much as we did. Even though I did not know Rosanna personally I knew her wonderful family in Troutville. I worked there at the local bank and her Dad was a great person. He would do anything for you and so would his wife. And it was imbedded in the family ... her sister still runs the family store. She was certainly surrounded by a great family. RIP Rosanna - you will be missed.
