I was so very sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I have such fond memories of her - in elementary school, whenever I had any ailments (headaches, stomach ache, etc.), Jean always seemed to make it feel better; no need to call Mom. As my next door neighbor for 18 years, I came to know her as my second mom.
I remember every Sunday morning at Church, looking over to find her sitting in her same spot in the Sanctuary.
The last time I saw Jean was after the birth of my second child when she surprised me one morning tapping at my front door. She came to meet my new little addition. It was so good to see her; We had such a nice visit.
While I know she will be missed by all who loved her; I believe she is at peace. I am sending love and prayers to the family.
