Beverly "Nancy" Hall Purser, 90, of Roanoke passed away at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bobby" Purser; parents, Raymond and Mamie Hall; and sisters, Geraldine Sorrells and Edith Mae England.

Mrs. Purser was a lifelong member of Belmont Christian Church and was an employee at the former Curves in Hollins. But most of all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, David (Deborah) Purser, Sandy (Gerard) Mitchell, Cheryl Murphy and John (Tammy) Purser; grandchildren, Christie (Logan), Jessica (Marvin), Bradley (Ashley), Kevin (Jessie), Brent, Blake and Brice; fourteen great grandchildren and other family members.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Nancy's team of caregivers: Donna, Joann, Chris, Wanda, Terryann, Linda and Pearl as well to the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice (especially nurse Diana) for their many acts of care and compassion.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road with Pastor Elaine Austin officiating.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, September 6, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home.  (540) 366-0707.
