Betty and family, I was so saddened by the news of Wayne's passing. And, unfortunately was out of town this week and could not get back in time for his services and to tell you this in person.
Wayne was a huge factor in my career at Carter Machinery. He taught me the service business the Cat way and the Carter way. "Get all the facts!", "Do what's right", "Keep doing it until you get it right", and of course a lot of other "Wayne-isms" that we will have to talk about sometime soon! We took a lot of road trips together and regardless of how long the day or tough the assignment, Wayne always found a way to bring a smile and cheerful (or colorful!) word to keep us going.
He was a good man, and a great mentor for many people. I will certainly miss and forever remember our "RWL'". Anne and I send our thoughts and condolences .
