Obituary of Randolph Russell Turner, Jr.

Randolph R. “Randy” Turner, Jr., 70, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born in Roanoke and was the son of the late Randolph R. Turner, Sr. and the late Lois E. Amos Turner. He was a truck driver for his father’s trucking company for many years.

Randy will be missed and remembered by his daughter, Kayla Nicole Turner and her fiancée, Michael Meirelles; sisters, Sandra Perdue and Karen Baker; nieces, Sherry Perdue and her husband Michael Gilmore, Kimerly Hartless and her husband Roger; great-nephews, Cameron Gilmore, Carson Gilmore and Steven Hypes; several cousins including, Ann Rifendifer and Kathy Crawley.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Walter Lee Wood officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
