Lucille Caldwell Huffman, 82, of Salem went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse R. Huffman and a son, Allen Huffman. Mrs. Huffman was a longtime member of Edgewood Christian Church and retired after working 20 years with K-Mart. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Michael and Meleani Huffman of Fincastle; grandchildren, Laura Monsour and husband Andrew of Roanoke; Beth Ann Pelletier and husband Timothy of Blacksburg; David Huffman and wife Moe of Roanoke; great grandchildren, Joshua Pelletier, Madison, Andrew, Maya and Jesse Monsour; Joseph, Elias, and Eden Pelletier; sister, Opal Dillon of Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family expresses a special thank you to the staff at Friendship Assisted Living (Eastwood) and Good Samaritan Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Kevin Wirt. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
