Obituary of Arnvil Tiller

Arnvil "Arnie" Tiller, 88, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021.  

Arnie proudly served his country in the U S Army and was a former owner of Lifetime Muffler. He was a devoted husband father and grandfather.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Gillespie Tiller; children, Ginger (J.D.) Flournoy, and Gary (Dana) Tiller; grandchildren, Jake (Olivia), Tyler, Amber (Josh), Ashley (Luke); great grandchild, Zoey and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Arnie's name to either St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the Shriners Hospitals for Children. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by son, Gary Tiller and Pastor Mason Jordan.  Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home. (540) 366-0707
