Mark Christopher Long, 55, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Monday 4 May 2021. He is survived by his parents Donald G. Long and Patricia De Hart Long. Also surviving him are his sister Traci Long DeForge (Rob), special cousins; William Lewis Crafton, Charles De Hart Crafton (Brie), Douglas Michael Crafton (Sherry), Becky Crafton Young, William Long (Julie), Jean Long McGuire (Todd); aunt, Peggy De Hart Crafton; uncles, E.H. “Sonny” Long, Douglas De Hart (Katherine), Richard Huffman, and William R. “Bill” Crafton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mark’s memory to the Boys Home of Virginia, 414 Boys Home Road, Covington, Va. 24426. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
