Obituary of Venice Laprad Beason

Venice Laprad Beason, 95, of Salem went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 3, 2021. She was preceded by her husband, William Jackson Beason.

Mrs. Beason was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

Surviving are her children, Donna (Jim) Pagans, Bill (Pam) Beason, Rick (Lena) Beason and Pat (Dewey) Bryant; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Cox, Jack Beason, Amanda (Dan) Pagans, Mike (Aimee) Beason, Jason (Katie) Bryant, Daniel (Larissa) Beason, Sara (Rob) Long, Adam (Amanda) Beason and John (Ashley) Beason; great grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob and Norah Long, Luca and Livia Beason, Olivia and Lauren Cox, Caleb and Isaac Bryant and Jonah Beason; many special nieces and nephews including, Bobby, Carol and Carl.

A graveside service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens by Pastor Warren Carswell. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home  5160 Peters Creek Road. (540)366-0707.
