Obituary of Harry Thomas Balderston

Harry Thomas Balderston, 64, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was born in Sayre, Pennsylvania and graduated high school from Staunton River High. Harry was a loving husband and a great father. He will always be remembered as a clever and funny person. He liked to crack jokes, make people laugh, and always had a positive outlook on life.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Kathryn Balderston; his brothers, Elwood “Butch” Balderston and Ricky Balderston; and his sisters, Lola Madigan and Kathy Loving.

Harry is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Balderston; daughters, Angie and Katrina; son, Kenneth; special niece, Kathy Bryant and husband James, and many other wonderful nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Harry, your life was a blessing, and your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 6, from 2:00-3:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3:00pm.
