Tammy Eaton Baker, 58 of Troutville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 24, 2021.  She was preceded by her father, John Eaton; and her mother and step father Carolyn and Ted Wilburn.

Tammy was born August 3, 1962 in Pearisburg, Virginia. She was a former employee of Lewis Gale Clinic and retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem. She was a member of Northview United Methodist Church and the Southwest Virginia Emmaus Community.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Kevin Baker; daughters, Christine (Michael) Rollins, Erica (Allen) Schurdell; grandchildren, Alexis and Dylan Murphy, Natalie Rollins and Bryn Schurdell; brothers, Gene (Ginny) Eaton and Jimmy (Tammy) Eaton; sister, Cherron Eaton; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the ALS Association VA/MD/DC Chapter 8100 Three Chopt Road Suite 147 Richmond, VA  23229 or to Northview United Methodist Church 521 Ridgecrest Drive Roanoke, VA  24019

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Doug Sasser.  Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. (540) 366-0707
