Al was beyond description and unforgettable in terms of his personality, joy of music and the Church, loyalty to family and friends, and overcoming a number of illnesses others his age would probably not have survived.
I remember going to the funeral home when several other church members passed and hearing Al tell the staff he wasn't needing their services yet.
When DG was ill and hospitalized, many times Al would already be there with and for him early in the morning before I got there myself.
Al was a treasure to our family and too many others to count.
