Obituary of Floyd Saunders Sprinkel

Floyd Saunders Sprinkel, 86, of Daleville Va., went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2021. Floyd was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Kathleen Sprinkel; brothers, Ben and Robert Sprinkel; and sister, Patty Sprinkel.
He is survived by his loving children and grandchildren who were his whole world, children, Brenda Journell (Allen), Sharon Yates and fiance’, Kenneth, and Scott Sprinkel (Robin); grandchildren, Wayne Journell (Kitrina), Amy Johnston (Andy), Andy Yates (Allison), and Allyson Yates; great-granddaughters, Hadleigh Journell, Zoey Johnston, Mila Johnston, and Olive Yates (due May 2021). He is also survived by a brother, Sam Sprinkel and wife, Sue; and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Melrose Baptist Church, 3520 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke Va. We will be following social distancing and masking guidelines.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
