William (Sonny) Malone, Jr., 77, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. Sonny is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherri Wilcox. His children, Kim Deaver and husband Jeff Deaver of Staunton and Pamela Cox and husband Doug of Staunton. Sonny had 3 grandchildren: Eric Deaver, Kari Hildebrand and Ryan Cox. He has 7 great grandkids.
Sonny worked at Acorn Construction for 20 plus years and then Alex Fecas Company until his retirement. He served proudly in the United States Navy. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time working outside with his wife.
