I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing; she was the last living aunt that I had and I loved her very much though I had not had the opportunity to see her since moving to Naples FL. I think she must be happy to be reunited with Uncle Jimmy as they always seemed to have the perfect love story to me as I was growing up. Vicki and I spent time with them in San Antonio when we were small and I thought it was quite an adventure and got the only good tan I ever had in my life lol. I still remember spending a part of every Christmas with you guys and Grandmother Comer and Harold and Leslie, then later George and Leslie. I even have a photo of my little girls with all of you at Christmas; hard to believe you all have kids of your own now. Anyway, I wanted you to know that my prayers were with you and I grieve with you at the loss of this lovely lady. She taught me, along with the other strong women in our family, how to stand up, with grace, and get my way.
God Bless you and keep you all in this very hard time that I have yet to face. Love, Kate (Katherine Stepp Schmidt)
