Ernie was at my home on Monday prior to his passing and he was picking with my granddaughter Gracelynn telling her she has to carry the hot rodding torch in our family, he had her all excited about coming to his next cruise in that he was planning in April, he had such a big heart and we will miss him dearly! Live by his motto live life to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised! Sincerely the Cawley family!

I remember Ernie use to stop by the store and get a BLT sandwich. We'd chat a bit and I'd ask him so Ernie what you getting into today. He said I think I'll run down to Mount Pilot and get a pork chop sandwich from the diner. He sure did love life. He touched thousands of lives along his journey. Prayers to his family. We lost one of the best. RIP MY FRIEND.

Glen and I are so saddened by the loss of Ernie. He was always bigger than life and was noticed when he walked into a room. Not just for his height, but his presence and kindness. It does not seem real because it happened so fast. Ernie will be missed by so many and will live on in his cars and for all he did for others. RIP Ernie.
