Obituary of Richard Keith Shirley

Richard "Keith" Shirley, 66, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. Keith "Pops" was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was known for his sense of humor, kindness and reliability as he was known to help anyone and at anytime. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Keith is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon "Sherry" Shirley; sons, Mark Shirley and wife Tracy, and Ryan Shirley; daughter, Erin Janney and husband Bruce; granddaughters, Emma and Anna Ryan, Emma and Hayden Janney; brothers, Michael Shirley, Tommy and John Shirley (Diana); sisters, Carole Graham and Susan Shirley; brother-in-laws, Mike Elkins (Erin), Larry Keith, and Les Elkins (Sue); sister-in-laws, Kim Ryan (Tom) and Kristi Weeks; and many nieces and nephews.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Shirley and Carolyn Hunter Shirley; and sister-in-laws, Debra Keith and Leslie Shirley.. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home
