Obituary of Charlotte M Bowbeer

Charlotte Haley Bowbeer, 77, wife of Stanley Franklin Bowbeer, passed from this life on Monday, February 15, 2021. She was born in Warrenton, VA and was the daughter of the late Irvin Haley Sr. and the late Jessie N. Cunningham Haley. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard Haley; brothers-in-law, William Haines and Donald Bowbeer.

Charlotte was a homemaker and Pastor’s wife, serving beside her husband for more than 40 years in ministry.

In addition to her husband, she will be missed and remembered by her children, Julie Bowbeer Nicely and her husband Benjamin, David F. Bowbeer and his wife Stephanie Nicely Bowbeer, and Michelle Bowbeer; grandchildren, Haley Nicely, Rachel Stringer and her husband Evan, Logan Hart and her husband James Michael, Caleb Bowbeer, Triston Bowbeer, Peyton Welch, and Ethen Welch; greatgrandchildren, Sonnie Holcomb; siblings, Francies Haley and his wife Dolores, Irvin Haley Jr. and his wife Hattie, Peggy Haines, Linda Hackley and her husband James; sisters-in-law, Betty Haley and Bernie Bowbeer; in-laws, Barbara Kurz and her husband Will, Michael Wright and his wife Sue.

A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Nienke officiating. The family will speak to friends following the service.
