Obituary of Kenneth Roscoe Bandy

Kenneth Roscoe Bandy, 80, of Fincastle went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was a strong follower of God and deeply loved his family to whom he brought much joy.

Kenneth was hard working and an ambitious man. He owned his own store, worked 20 years for Krispy  Kreme, worked 23 years for Valley Machine and retired in 2012 (where he continued to work at home). He showed a lot of creativity with his hands. He brought so much joy to his wife and family by creating special projects and drawings.

Kenneth is survived by his wife: Katherine “Louise” D. Bandy; son, Jason Bandy; daughters, Kathy Bandy (Joe), Lisa Keesee (Buzz) and Melanie Coe (Stephen); grandchildren: Michelle (Jerry), Tabatha (Austin), Travis, Josh (Tracy), Jenna Rae, and Drew; great granddaughter, Mallarie; sister, Barbara Sanders; loving niece, Cheyenne; and Poppie’s grandson, Shane (Courtney).

A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Simpson Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a visitation on Sunday, February 7 from 2:00-4:00 pm, also at Simpson Funeral Home. Pastor Kevin Cummings will be officiating.
