Obituary of "Ruth" Jenettie Lovell Bayse Michael

“Ruth” Jenettie Lovell Bayse Michael, 90, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Michael; parents, James M & Delia Lovell; aunt and uncle Ruby & Taft Coggins; brothers, Don and James Lovell, Jr.

Ruth is survived by her children Alan Bayse and wife Amy, Yvonne Reynolds and husband Ron, Alicia Rollins and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Stacy Harris, Deidre DeHoust, Brad Reynolds, Wes Reynolds, Sarah Wimmer, Allyson Schwab, Chandler Henderson and Bryson Henderson; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Bill Coggins, Robert Coggins and wife Jan; numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and co-workers at GE, ITT, Bayse & Co and Central Church of the Brethren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Central Church of the Brethren in Ruth’s name.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Salem Terrace for the care they gave to Ruth.

Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 4 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Kinsey and Pastor Greg Irby officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home (540)366-0707.
